Affine Analytics seeks an accomplished ML scientist who can ship models to production and validate them with online experiments. You will leverage advanced statistics, algorithm design, and deep learning to solve real-world problems across pricing, marketing, and product analytics.

You will work with Python, SQL, Spark, and cloud platforms in a data-rich environment. You will read the latest ML literature, implement robust research code, and collaborate with engineers to operationalize streaming

Qualificações

• 69 years of applied ML/data science experience with models shipped to production and online experiments.
• Strong grounding in statistics and probability theory including hypothesis testing, Bayesian and causal inference.
• Deep understanding of ML algorithms and mathematical foundations; ability to design/adapt algorithms.
• Solid grounding in neural networks, sequence models, transformers and optimization methods.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow) and SQL; comfortable with notebooks against large datasets.
• Experience with distributed data processing (Apache Spark) at scale with tens/hundreds of millions of rows.
• Ability to design and interpret A/B tests; familiarity with causal inference methods is a plus for pricing/marketing.
• Comfort reading ML/statistics literature and translating papers into working methods.
• Ability to write clean, version-controlled, testable research code for handoff to ML Engineers.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (microservices, streaming pipelines) for productionizing models.
• Ability to communicate modeling trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
