Q2 is building the next generation of AI-enabled financial services. We seek a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design and deliver production-ready AI solutions, develop tooling and APIs, and help scale an enterprise-grade AI platform.

The role spans across the stack, from model work to backend services, with a culture of ownership and continuous learning. You will collaborate with product and data teams, participate in architecture decisions, and contribute to secure, scalable deployments in

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software/ML/AI engineering experience with production ownership.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with backend languages (C#, Java, TypeScript) for APIs and microservices.
• Experience with LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows.
• Experience deploying and scaling cloud-native infrastructure, containers, and pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and optimize production-ready LLM agents with multi-step reasoning.
• Develop scalable evaluation pipelines measuring accuracy, latency, cost, safety, and hallucination rates.
• Integrate agentic workflows with external platforms and APIs for reliable retrieval and actions.
• Fine-tune domain-specific LLMs using SFT, LoRA/PEFT, and preference optimization.
• Productionize AI services across cloud and backend with security, observability, and pipelines.
• Track production metrics, data drift, feedback loops, and retuning strategies.
