Apple is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for the Answers Knowledge and Information group in Seattle to advance open-domain QA, summarization, and LLM-powered features across Siri, Spotlight, Safari and Messages.

You will conduct large-scale ML research, fine-tune domain-specific LLMs, translate product needs into modeling tasks, and collaborate with researchers to productionize cutting-edge AI across Apple devices and cloud services.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of work experience in machine learning, deep learning or related field.
• Experience working with NLP tasks and RAG applications including prompt engineering, data collection and evaluation.
• Experience with Python and at least one deep learning framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch or JAX).
• PhD preferred in CS/AI/ML or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct research and development on state-of-the-art deep learning and large language models for various tasks and applications in Apple's AI-powered products.
• Develop, fine-tune, and evaluate domain-specific Large Language Models for NLP tasks including summarization, search relevance and query understanding.
• Transfer cutting-edge generative AI research to production-ready technologies.
• Translate product requirements into modeling and engineering tasks and stay current with AI advancements.
