Job summary

Talanto seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to advance fraud detection across the company’s network. You will build models, design experiments, and deploy solutions in collaboration with Data Science and Engineering teams.

You will own end-to-end ML projects, address data challenges, and explore new approaches including transformers and graph-based signals. Hybrid work in SF/Seattle/NYC offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in ML, applied science, or software engineering for ML.
• Hands-on model development, deployment, and measurement of production impact.
• Strong understanding of traditional and modern ML methods including gradient-boosted trees and neural networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop models that improve fraud detection for customers.
• Design experiments and evaluate features and models with robust metrics.
• Build and maintain training datasets and features, handling label quality and data leakage.
• Deploy models in collaboration with ML Infrastructure and Engineering teams.
• Lead ML projects from open-ended problems to production releases.
