Job summary

DraftKings in Boston is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, implement, and scale production-grade data and ML pipelines that drive measurable business outcomes. You will partner with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to build observable, scalable systems.

The Fintech Data Science team builds and maintains systems that protect DraftKings and customers from fraud, payment risk, and abuse. A BA/BS in CS or ML is required, MS preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production Python experience with structured data (SQL).
• Strong fundamentals: OO design, testing, and version control.
• Familiarity with ML Ops concepts and data pipelines.
• Experience building data/feature pipelines in data-heavy environments.
• Understanding of ML lifecycle: feature engineering, training, serving.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/feature pipelines for risk and payment apps.
• Develop production ML systems from training to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data scientists to productionize models.
• Build reliable data workflows from SQL feature transforms to training/deployment.
• Establish observability for data quality, drift, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, incident response.
