DoorDash is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning, to design and validate ML enhancements for the catalog system and product knowledge graph in a hybrid SF Bay Area role. You will own end-to-end ML projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable ML solutions.

The role emphasizes production ML, model deployment, experimentation, and monitoring, with a compensation package including equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in a technical field such as CS, math, statistics or physics.
• 5+ years ML industry experience with strong understanding of ML algorithms.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools and full SDLC (design, code, test, monitor, release).
• Experience building data/feature pipelines at scale with PySpark and Snowflake SQL.
• Experience building production ML systems using PyTorch, Keras, LightGBM, scikit-learn, Spark ML.
