Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the Defect Quality & Systems group. You will drive the strategy for in-house ML models, detecting and classifying defects in real-time, and own the full ML lifecycle from design to deployment in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or related STEM/Engineering degree.
• 5+ years relevant experience in ML/AI
• Semiconductor industry highly preferred
• Expertise in ML Frameworks: TensorFlow 2.x and PyTorch with production deployment
• Strong Linux/Ubuntu CLI skills and hardware-aware model optimization
• Strong ability to communicate ML metrics to non-technical audiences
