Job summary

vacancy global pro is seeking an analytical data scientist with 4+ years of experience to validate product hypotheses and build features for ML models. The role focuses on interpreting large datasets, selecting data sources, and delivering actionable insights to guide product decisions.

You will work with Python, SQL, and Azure ML within a Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive predictive capabilities and enhance product performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics and machine learning.
• Strong data science background with expertise in statistical analysis and ML models.
• Proven experience with data analysis, working with new data sources, and large datasets.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Strong SQL skills for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Excellent communication to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with MLOps (MLflow, Kubeflow) and Azure ML / AWS / GCP.
• Knowledge of explainable AI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate product hypotheses by interpreting large datasets and generating insights.
• Integrate and assess new data sources, replacing legacy sources and ensuring compliance.
• Extract and create features from datasets for ML models to drive predictive capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into business recommendations.
• Apply advanced statistical analysis and modeling techniques to large datasets.
• Perform large-scale data analysis using Python and SQL.
• Work with Azure Machine Learning for model training and deployment.
• Participate in Scrum agile process with data-informed decisions.
