Job summary

Signify Technology is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead development of a Computational Design & CAD platform powering customized medical devices. You will design parametric CAD pipelines and work with AI teams to integrate predictive models into CAD generation workflows.

The role requires translating expert domain knowledge into scalable design systems, collaborating with clinicians, AI engineers, and manufacturing teams to drive automated workflows and manufacturable outputs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building parametric or procedural CAD systems in engineering, product development, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Strong experience with programmatic CAD development and geometry automation.
• Proficiency with CAD APIs such as Onshape, SolidWorks, Fusion, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop parametric and procedural CAD pipelines for generating custom products.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex design requirements into scalable automated systems.
• Build reusable libraries of parametric components and design primitives for multiple product lines.
• Work with AI teams to define how predictive models interact with CAD generation workflows.
• Develop advanced geometric tooling including surface modeling, offsets, and manufacturable geometry generation.
• Automate design workflows through CAD APIs and geometry kernels rather than GUI-driven processes.
• Ensure outputs meet manufacturing and quality standards while driving design-to-production automation.
• Help shape the future architecture of AI-driven design systems.
