Job summary

Echo Neurotechnologies seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, scale, and deploy clinical-grade ML algorithms in the cloud, translating complex neurophysiological signals into production-ready predictive models and automated diagnostic features.

You will build and deploy cloud-based models with reliable, low-latency data processing while ensuring strict regulatory compliance and collaboration with cross-functional teams to advance SaMD capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production ML engineering in cloud environments.
• Strong Python and ML framework experience (e.g., PyTorch).
• Experience with HIPAA, SOC 2 and medical device software lifecycles (IEC 62304, ISO 13485).
• Excellent communication and independent execution in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable ML pipelines and clinical algorithms in the cloud.
• Decode neurophysiological signals into real-time control streams for devices.
• Train, evaluate, and optimize models for signal processing and behavior detection.
• Architect scalable pipelines for production deployment, data versioning and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software/firmware engineers, researchers, and regulatory specialists.
• Prepare design specs, risk analyses, and validation protocols for FDA submissions.
