Job summary

BD is seeking a Senior Staff AI/ML Algorithm Engineer to advance medical technologies for continuous physiological monitoring and predictive clinical decision support. You will implement algorithms using multimodal data including sensor signals, EHRs, and imaging, in a cross-functional team.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in AI/ML, strong Python/TensorFlow/PyTorch skills, and experience deploying to cloud and edge devices, with an understanding of regulatory considerations in healthcare.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience in AI/ML, algorithm development, or related areas.
• Experience with physiological time-series data and biomedical data.
• Strong programming skills in Python and ML frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience deploying algorithms to edge/embedded devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, validation and deployment of AI/ML algorithms for continuous physiological monitoring.
• Develop algorithms from multi-modal data including sensor signals, EHRs, and imaging.
• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and product teams to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Build end-to-end deployment pipelines for data ingestion, training, validation and monitoring.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in healthcare AI.
