Job summary

RTX is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for the Aviation Intelligence team. You will build next-generation ML models powering Foresight products, improve current models, and enhance operational efficiency for airlines and airports worldwide.

The role is remote in the United States, with a focus on large datasets, open-ended problems, and collaboration within a small team inside a large org. Strong Python and DL framework experience required.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong knowledge of Python.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks: TensorFlow/Keras or PyTorch.
• Experience with complex data types: time series, image, video, etc.
• Ability to work within an agile development style.

Responsibilities

• Build next-generation ML models for Foresight products.
• Improve existing models to enhance operational efficiency of aviation systems.
• Work within the Aviation Intelligence and Predict teams on large-scale datasets.
• Leverage cloud and on-prem tools to develop scalable ML solutions.
