Job summary

PathAI is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer (Applied Research & Model Development) to design, develop, and deploy ML models for our AI products and services.

You will work with biomedical data science, product development, translational research, MLOps, and platform engineering to translate clinical requirements into scalable solutions.

Based in Boston, NYC or remote, with a salary range of $130,500–$200,100; relocation benefits are not available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or PhD) in ML/CS/Data Science/Statistics/Applied Math or closely related field with 5+ years (PhD with 3+ years) of experience.
• Proven track record deploying ML models to production or research.
• Strong Python proficiency and experience with ML frameworks and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for research and product development projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with scientists, engineers, and product teams to translate clinical requirements into scalable ML solutions.
• Contribute to experimental design, analysis, and documentation, and participate in governance activities.
