Job summary

PathAI is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer (Applied Research & Model Development) to design, develop, and deploy ML models across research and product initiatives. Qualifications

• Master’s degree plus 2–4 years of experience; Ph.D. with 0–2 years acceptable for MLE II.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying ML models into production or research applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python, ML frameworks, and data pipeline development.
• Ability to work independently on projects and communicate across scientific and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for research and product development projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate clinical requirements into scalable ML solutions.
• Contribute to experimental design, documentation, and reporting.
• Participate in knowledge sharing, design reviews, and governance activities.
• Improve ML pipelines and deployment infrastructure in partnership with MLOps and platform teams.
• Publish and present scientific work including abstracts and manuscripts.
