Job summary

Zotec Partners in Carmel, IN seeks a Senior ML Engineer to build and scale ML and AI systems. You will design and ship models, connect LLMs to real data, and define safe, accountable AI tooling for the business.

You have a Bachelor’s in a STEM field, 3–5 years delivering ML at scale, and deep experience with Python, AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, Redshift), ML pipelines, and knowledge graphs. You’ll mentor teammates, review code, and help shape our AI roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required, Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years delivering ML solutions at scale.
• Proficiency in Python, ML model development, training and evaluation.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data at scale; ML pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, Redshift); Claude and other LLMs.
• Knowledge representation (ontologies, taxonomies, graphs) to improve retrieval/ reasoning.
• DevOps practices, CI/CD, IaC; ML tools integrations; production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ML models and data integrations powering AI products and internal tools.
• Connect LLMs to real data via tools and integrations for accurate, safe reasoning.
• Own the ML lifecycle from problem framing to deployment and monitoring.
• Architect scalable, cost-aware ML infra on AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda).
• Apply ontology/knowledge-graph thinking to improve data quality and retrieval.
