Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and operate ML capabilities powering observability, troubleshooting, and optimization across high-volume telemetry. You’ll work with engineers, product managers, researchers, and infra experts to turn ambiguous problems into reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience designing and shipping machine learning systems in production.
• Strong Python skills; Go or similar systems language is a plus.
• Solid ML fundamentals: model selection, feature engineering, evaluation, failure analysis.
• Experience with time-series, logs, metrics, traces, or other operational data.
• Experience building reliable data and inference services beyond notebooks or prototypes.
• Ability to evaluate ambiguous ML problems and design robust solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate ML systems powering observability, troubleshooting, and optimization for CoreWeave's infrastructure.
• Develop anomaly detection, time-series analysis, event correlation, ranking, and root-cause inference across high-volume telemetry.
• Create datasets, experiments, and evaluation frameworks to measure model quality and robustness.
• Develop data pipelines, feature-generation, inference services, and feedback loops for continuous improvement.
• Integrate ML capabilities with telemetry platforms and customer-facing experiences (Mission Control, Grafana).
• Collaborate with engineers on metrics, logs, traces, and data infrastructure.
• Monitor quality, latency, reliability, and cost of ML-powered services in production.
• Investigate data and model failures and implement durable fixes.
