Job summary

Ellipsis Health is seeking a core contributor and technical leader for its AI Research & Engineering team in Silicon Valley. You will drive the conceptualization, architecture, and deployment of frontier agentic systems, collaborating with core infrastructure and platform teams to translate breakthroughs in LLMs into practical clinical applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development focusing on product design and scalable platforms.
• Strong Python expertise with distributed ML or DL frameworks.
• Proven track record deploying LLM-powered or multi-agent systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Vision: act as the technical authority for the Agentic AI roadmap from prototyping to production.
• Advanced Agentic Architecture: design and optimize scalable systems and orchestration pipelines for deep reasoning and tool use.
• Research-to-Production Translation: bridge frontier ML research to enterprise software design and deployment.
• Rigorous Evaluation & Benchmarking: build evaluation frameworks and continuous testing infra with rigorous metrics.
• Data Mix Optimization: develop data curation pipelines to create high-quality training datasets.
• Cross-Functional & Clinical Collaboration: work with clinicians, product managers, and engineers to ensure safe AI platforms.
