Job summary

Instacart is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer II to enhance their Ads Response Prediction team's ML capabilities. This role focuses on designing and advancing core ML models that will shape the ads ecosystem.

Qualifications

• PhD/Master in machine learning, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience applying ML to ranking, recommendation, or prediction problems.
• Strong foundation in causal inference and data bias mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and development of pCTR and conversion prediction models.
• Design and implement debiasing techniques for ML models.
• Collaborate on Foundation Models using autoregressive user behavior prediction.
