Reddit is hiring Machine Learning Engineers (IC4) to build and evolve the auction, bidding and budgeting systems that power Reddit Ads. In this role, you will design optimization models for auctions, bidding and pacing that balance advertiser performance with user experience.

• 3–5+ years building ML systems in production (5+ for IC4).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Go, or similar.
• Experience designing scalable data processing systems (Spark, Kafka, Airflow).
• Ability to translate business problems into measurable optimization solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design optimization models for auctions, bidding, and pacing.
• Own end‑to‑end systems from problem framing to deployment.
