Mercury is seeking a Machine Learning-focused Data Scientist to support our Risk team. You’ll help detect, monitor, and mitigate fraud while understanding customers and maintaining a trustworthy banking experience.

You’ll work with risk, product, and engineering to build and deploy real-time ML models, ensure data quality, and improve data pipelines and observability. Requirements include 5+ years analyzing large data sets with 3+ years ML experience, strong SQL and Python, and production ML

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience analyzing large datasets to drive impact, with at least 3 years in ML.
• Strong SQL skills to understand and manage imperfect data.
• Proficient in Python and statistical modeling for ML.
• Experience deploying and monitoring ML models in production.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
