Job summary

Rivian is seeking an ML Compiler Engineer to develop tools for deep learning inference on Rivian Hardware Platforms. You will collaborate closely with Autonomy and Hardware teams, leading the development of an ML Compiler, designing optimizations, and aligning efforts with hardware roadmaps.

The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. or M.S. in Computer Engineering, possesses excellent C/C++ and Python skills, and has a strong background in deep learning software models. This role offers a competitive salary range of $228,000 to $285,000 annually, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.S. in Computer Engineering or a related field required.
• Excellent C/C++ and Python programming skills needed.
• Experience with various SOC platforms used for machine learning is important.
• Strong understanding of deep learning software models is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of an ML Compiler for mapping models to Rivian Autonomy Processor.
• Design and implement hardware-aware optimizations targeted to RAP1.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to co-optimize model architecture.
• Benchmark and analyze system performance across platforms.
• Align model optimization efforts with hardware roadmap.
