Job summary

Arm is seeking a senior ML algorithm development expert to advance the architecture and software stack for ARM computing platforms. You will explore hardware-software-algorithm co-design, prototype innovative algorithms, and validate architectural concepts on CPU/GPU/NPUs.

The role requires strong background in ML, deep learning training on GPU clusters, and proficiency with Python, TensorFlow and PyTorch. This is a hybrid Austin-based position with collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in ML algorithm development or optimization
• Master or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CS or related field
• Proficient in computer architecture; HW/SW design basics
• Experience developing large software systems in Python
• Knowledge of TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Experience training large DL models on GPU-based systems

Responsibilities

• Architecture exploration for joint hardware, software and algorithm development.
• Develop hardware-aware optimization algorithms for ARM platforms (CPU/GPU/NPUs).
