Job summary

Confido in New York, NY is seeking a Senior AI / ML Engineer to build core AI systems powering the platform—from ingesting financial documents to predictive models that guide brand decisions. You’ll take ideas from research to production and partner with engineering and product to ship AI capabilities.

Qualifications

Confido is the AI infrastructure powering modern CPG — the platform that 200+ brands like OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Dr. Squatch, and Tropicana use to run everything from deductions to production planning. Finance, accounting, sales, and operations, unified in one system for the first time.

Senior AI / ML Engineer , you will help build the core AI systems powering the Confido platform—from LLM-powered document understanding to predictive models that help brands make better decisions.

You’ll work closely with engineering and product to bring AI capabilities from research to production.

Location: New York, NY (Relocation supported)

What You’ll Do

• Own the AI/ML lifecycle: research → prototyping → production deployment → monitoring

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 5+ years of applied AI / ML experience

• Experience building and deploying production ML systems

• Experience owning deep-learning models training end-to-end

• Experience working with LLMs or NLP systems

• Strong product mindset and ability to translate AI capabilities into real-world applications

Nice to Have

• Experience fine-tuning LLMs (Llama, GPT, etc.)

• Experience building agentic workflows or retrieval systems

• Startup experience or comfort working in fast-moving environments
