Job summary

A leading technology company in Austin is looking for a Senior Validation Engineer to join their Machine Learning Acceleration team. You will validate next-gen machine learning accelerators and oversee all stages of the product development lifecycle. The role requires strong programming skills and experience with system validation, as well as collaboration across various engineering teams to ensure high quality in AI/ML technologies. Qualifications

• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• Experience with server hardware and debug tools.
• 5+ years of non-internship system test development and automated deployments experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own validation aspects across product development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure AI/ML accelerators meet quality standards.
• Develop and improve validation strategies for better coverage and time to root cause.

Skills

Strong programming skills (Python, Lua, C/C++, Rust, Go, etc)

Understanding of computer architecture and chip/system validation methodologies

Experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD

Firmware testing and/or development (BIOS, BMC, drivers)

Domain expertise in PCIe, HBM, GPUs, neural networks, ML HW architecture

Knowledge of validation lifecycle from RTL simulation to silicon failure analysis

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
