The Mitigation Technician role is hands-on, requires physical labor, and involves assessing affected areas, performing mitigation services, and documenting work to industry and company

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in mitigation, restoration, construction, or related field.
• Sales experience.
• Leadership or crew management experience.
• IICRC certifications (WRT required; FSRT, ASD, AMRT preferred).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read scopes, create estimates, and manage job budgets.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day mitigation operations and ensure smooth workflow across field crews.
• Conduct on-site inspections to assess water, fire, or mold damage and determine required steps.
• Create accurate scopes, estimates, and job plans using company software and industry standards.
• Lead, mentor, and support technicians to ensure high performance and customer service.
• Maintain communication with customers, insurance adjusters, and internal teams throughout the job lifecycle.
• Manage projects from start to finish within timelines and budgets.
