Job summary

Thompson Software Solutions (TSS) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Mission Systems to design, develop, integrate, and test software that enables core mission capabilities within complex avionics architectures. You will contribute to mission computing, data links, displays, and sensor integration, working within a multi-site team.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in a STEM field and 5+ years of C/C++ development; active Secret clearance is required for access to classified information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of C/C++ development experience.
• Experience in mission systems software architecture and real-time embedded systems.
• Onsite work 100% and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test mission systems software.
• Collaborate with multi-site teams to enable real-time operation.
• Support avionics architectures including data links, sensors, CNI, and weapon systems.
