Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks Senior Mission Software Engineers to own significant portions of the EW software stack, including embedded software, backend services, deployment and customer-facing tools. You will influence architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and work closely with customers.

You will drive critical area ownership, ensure production-grade reliability, and collaborate across teams to meet mission requirements, traveling up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least two of Haskell, Rust, C++, Go, TypeScript.
• Experience with Linux systems in production.
• Track record of owning and shipping complex software in fast-moving environments.
• Ability to work independently and drive technical decisions with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the technical direction for one or more critical EW software areas.
• Architect and implement production-grade solutions at scale and in contested environments.
• Debug complex cross-system issues across embedded software, networking, apps, and deployment infra.
• Develop high-performance software including RF data algorithms and deployment tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and interface with customers and operators to translate needs into priorities.
• Collaborate with embedded software, systems architecture, and growth teams; support deployments and engagements.
