Job summary
Menlo Ventures is seeking a Mission Security Engineer in Laguna Beach, CA to secure national security space systems and related technologies. This hands-on role requires a blend of IT expertise and cybersecurity compliance, ensuring robust security measures within mission-critical systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in cybersecurity compliance, DevSecOps, and cloud infrastructure deployment, with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and active Top Secret clearance. This position offers competitive salary and benefits.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a technical IT field, security engineering, DevSecOps, and/or software development.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
- DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification required.
Responsibilities
- Implement end‑to‑end security controls for ground‑based systems.
- Ensure security architectures enable effective monitoring and incident response.
- Support cloud Provisional Authorization across classified environments.
