CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Mission Assurance Manager to lead the mission assurance organization for DoD programs and internal aerospace work. You will drive quality, audits, and supplier oversight across engineering, manufacturing, and program management to ensure compliance and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in mission assurance/quality, 5+ years of leadership, an engineering degree, and proven DoD and AS9100 expertise.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Mission Assurance, Quality, or Reliability Engineering in defense/aerospace/space industries.
• 5+ years of management experience leading technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical) or related field.
• Expert-level understanding of AS9100 and DoD standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead Mission Assurance organization for DoD customers and internal program requirements.
• Establish and execute mission assurance plans ensuring quality across manufacturing and engineering.
• Lead design reviews, process qualifications, configuration audits, and hardware acceptance reviews.
• Serve as primary contact for audits to ensure AS9100 and DoD compliance.
• Facilitate FMECA and RCCA investigations for non-conformances.
• Lead MRB/FRB for internal and external reviews and customer presentations.
• Collaborate with supply chain to ensure supplier flow-downs and quality strategy.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program management to drive improvements.
• Manage and develop a team of professionals, fostering rigor and quality.
