CesiumAstro seeks a Staff Mission Assurance Engineer to lead mission assurance activities for satellite and aerospace programs. You will ensure compliance across design, manufacturing, integration and test, interfacing with customers and suppliers to uphold quality requirements.

With 8+ years in aerospace/high-reliability settings, you will tailor processes, manage risks, and drive corrective actions while guiding cross-functional teams and audits, sustaining delivery of critical customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of applicable work experience or training.
• Experience in aerospace/defense/high-reliability industries.
• Deep knowledge of mission assurance requirements (NASA/DoD).
• Proven ability to develop, document, and tailor processes.

Responsabilités

• Serve as SME for customer-specific mission assurance and quality requirements across design, manufacturing, integration, and test.
• Drive implementation of mission assurance processes and modifications to QM systems.
• Ensure delivery of mission assurance deliverables including reports and documentation.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams for audits, reviews, and milestones.
• Partner with supply chain to ensure flow-down and compliance with requirements.
• Lead risk management activities and action plans per procedures and standards.
• Lead investigations and corrective actions for major nonconformances.
• Provide training on mission assurance processes and customer requirements.
