Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Engineer for Missiles to develop, integrate, and validate dynamic simulations of guided weapons and flight vehicles. You will work on fast-running trajectory models, high-fidelity simulations, and hardware-in-the-loop environments to support GNC, seeker integration, and system-performance analysis.

Applicants should have a strong foundation in flight mechanics and be proficient in MATLAB, Python, or C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent expertise.
• Experience in missile or flight-vehicle modeling and simulation.
• Hands-on experience with 3-DOF or 6-DOF simulations.
• Strong fundamentals in flight mechanics and dynamic-system analysis.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain 3-DOF and 6-DOF flight simulations for missile systems.
• Translate requirements into model requirements and verification methods.
• Evaluate trajectory performance, robustness, and sensor integration.
• Support design trades, uncertainty analysis, and Monte Carlo studies.
• Integrate models into desktop, SIL, SITL, HITL, and HWIL environments.
