Job summary

You will conduct mission- and system-level analyses, evaluate engagement performance, and develop analytical tools using MATLAB and Python. You will translate complex simulation results into actionable recommendations for government stakeholders, collaborate with systems engineers and software teams, and deliver clear technical reports and data

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a STEM discipline required.
• 12+ years of professional experience in performance analysis, modeling, or mission analysis for complex defense systems.
• Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with MATLAB for model development and data analysis.
• Proficiency with Python and libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib).
• Strong communication and ability to present analyses to government customers and leadership.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance analyses of missile defense capabilities using modeling and simulation.
• Develop analytical methodologies to evaluate system effectiveness and engagement outcomes.
• Design and maintain analytical tools in MATLAB and Python.
• Conduct Monte Carlo simulations and sensitivity studies.
• Analyze large simulation datasets and identify trends.
• Prepare technical reports and data visualizations for leadership.
• Collaborate with engineers and software teams to define metrics and approaches.
• Support design reviews and customer briefings.
• Maintain documentation and modeling assumptions.
