Turner Staffing Group is recruiting a Sr. Supply Chain Specialist for a permanent opportunity with our client in the Republic, Washington area.

This role focuses on procurement, contract development, negotiation, administration, and strategic vendor management to bolster operational efficiency, cost control, and supplier performance.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in mining or heavy industry procurement and will work with ERP systems and procurement software to drive value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 5–8 years of procurement experience, including contract development and commercial negotiations.
• Demonstrated ability to draft, negotiate, and administer commercial contracts.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract principles, and supplier performance management.
• Experience in mining, heavy industry, oil & gas, or similar industrial environment preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems and procurement software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across operations, projects, legal, and other business functions.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, draft, negotiate, and administer commercial contracts in accordance with company policies and requirements.
• Lead and support vendor negotiations involving pricing, delivery terms, warranties, service levels, terms, and risk mitigation.
• Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and competitive bid packages.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and recommend contract awards.
• Partner with legal, operations, project, and supply chain teams to develop clear, long-term agreements.
