Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mine Superintendent for our East Tennessee operation in Strawberry Plains. You will lead mine development, supervise underground hard rock mining activities, and drive safe, compliant operations.

We offer a competitive salary of $140,000–$150,000 per year plus full benefits, 401(k) match, PTO, and life insurance. Strong leadership and EHS focus are essential to achieve budgeted production and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS in Mining Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in supervision of mining operations.
• Minimum 4 years experience in underground hard rock mining.
• Experience in contract management desirable.
• Understanding of mine planning, scheduling, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead mine operations to meet planned specifications and output.
• Promote safe behavior and ensure EHS compliance.
• Manage resources to achieve budget and cost controls.
• Develop staff and contractors with ongoing feedback and coaching.
• Lead and participate in EHS initiatives, investigations and reviews.
