Job summary

Fairfield County Millwork in Bethany, CT is seeking an experienced Millwork Estimator for a full-time, in-person role. The ideal candidate will review drawings, produce takeoffs and labor/material estimates, and coordinate with builders, architects, designers, and customers.

Candidates should have 8+ years of estimating experience in architectural millwork or luxury residential projects, with strong understanding of cabinetry, veneers, materials, and shop conditions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years estimating experience in architectural millwork or luxury residential construction.
• Ability to interpret architectural/shop drawings and translate to estimates.
• Experience pricing labor, materials, and vendor items with clear exclusions.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and specifications to prepare takeoffs and estimates.
• Obtain vendor pricing and identify scope gaps and constructability issues.
• Develop alternates and exclusions; price change orders.
• Coordinate estimate handoffs with project management, drafting, purchasing, and shop leadership.
