Job summary
Raydeo Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Millwork CAD Drafter for Commercial Construction. The role focuses on AWI-driven drafting, coordination with PreCon/PM teams, and delivering high-end millwork drawings to support prestigious southeast projects.
Strong software skills and portfolio review are emphasized. Ideal candidates have a college degree or exceptional experience with Microvellum, AutoCAD 3D, and Inventor.
Qualifications
- AWI certification and ability to read, engage and interpret plans, specs, and pricing.
- Experience directing a team of drafters toward high-end millwork projects.
- Portfolio review and interview accepted for exceptional experience.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with clients, subcontractors, and project team.
Responsibilities
- Direct the positioning and layout of drawings to meet AWI specs and company requirements.
- Review, advise and amend drawing packages with understanding of sales vs. specification changes.
- Coordinate with PreCon and Project Management for pricing and scope prior to submittal.
- Direct collection of samples and content for review, approval, and purchasing.
- Direct organization of submittal drawings for easy review and approval.
