Job summary

RiverTech, an Akima company, seeks a Senior Training, Exercise & Operations Analyst to provide operational leadership, analysis, and subject matter expertise in planning, design, and execution of complex military training, testing, and simulation events.

The ideal candidate brings extensive Aviation Command and Control experience, warfare planning, scenario development, and mission planning, serving as a senior advisor translating requirements into executable training solutions and coordinating

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive military, defense, or simulation experience.
• Significant experience in military operations, operational planning, or C2.
• Proven experience directing or supporting large-scale exercises and training events.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into training, simulation, system, and data requirements.
• SECRET security clearance (required).

Responsibilities

• Define, analyze, and document operational training requirements in support of military objectives.
• Provide senior-level expertise through the full exercise lifecycle from planning to lessons learned.
• Lead and support development of large-scale operational scenarios reflecting realistic mission objectives.
• Provide in-house SME for scenario design, construction, refinement, and execution.
• Support refinement of requirements for simulations, mission-planning systems, data-link capabilities, and collaboration tools.
• Translate operational requirements into actionable simulation, system, data, and integration requirements.
• Support exercise design for constructive simulations, including injects and supporting data.
• Provide operational expertise in C2, Marine Aviation, data links, and ATO processes.
