Job summary

Senior Strategy, Plans, Exercises, and Policy Planner at MacDill AFB, FL, leads Joint and Operational Planning Teams, develops public affairs strategies, and coordinates with CENTCOM components and interagency partners across assigned portfolios.

Requires active TS/SCI clearance at time of award and US citizenship. Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of planning experience (3+ in GCC HQ) and 5+ years in information-related areas (PA/IO/KLE/CA); JPME I or communications background preferred.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship; fluent English.
• Bachelor's degree.
• At least five years of planning experience, including at least three years at a Geographic or Functional Combatant Command Headquarters.
• At least five years of experience in an information-related area (PA, IO, KLE, or CA).
• Preferred JPME I or corporate marketing/communications experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning for Joint Planning Teams and Operational Planning Teams, focusing on mission analysis, COA development, wargaming, comparison, and decision.
• Provide situational awareness to ensure seamless transition from planning to execution.
• Support exercises and operational planning with CENTCOM components, other combatant commands, and interagency partners.
• Develop and coordinate Public Affairs Guidance, talking points, and communication strategies supporting operational plans.
• Establish relationships with CENTCOM directorates and participate in the B2C2WG construct.
• Provide crisis and contingency response support, including 24/7 surge support.
