Job summary

People, Technology & Processes is seeking a Master Strategy, Plans, Exercises, and Policy Planner at MacDill AFB, FL. The role directs joint strategic planning across CENTCOM portfolios and leads JPP teams, integrating public affairs into operational plans with 24/7 surge capability.

The candidate must hold an active TS/SCI clearance, be a U.S. citizen, fluent in English, and possess a Master’s degree with at least five years in planning, including time at GCC HQ.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Five or more years of planning experience, including five years at a Geographic or Functional Combatant Command HQ.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of award.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage planning activities within Joint Planning Teams and Operational Planning Teams for multinational efforts.
• Provide subject matter expertise across all phases of the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP).
• Develop plans and orders and facilitate handover of plans from planning to execution.
• Develop and coordinate Public Affairs Guidance, talking points, and communication strategies supporting operational plans.
