Job summary

Commence, headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a Sr. Advisor to guide the company's strategy across the Defense Health Agency and the Military Health System.

You will shape where Commence can contribute most across readiness and TRICARE, translating policy into portfolio actions and advising senior leadership. In this role you will build relationships with research organizations, associations, and academic partners, and supervise white papers, RFIs, and thought leadership to position

Qualifications

• 10 or more years in health care, including senior leadership in DHA or related offices.
• Deep knowledge of Military Health System programs and DoD health policy.
• Advanced degree in relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help set and guide the company’s vision for impactful approaches and solutions across DHA and the Military Health System.
• Advise leadership on military health strategy and best-fit directorates, programs, and problem sets.
• Translate DoD health policy direction, TRICARE program changes, and MHS restructuring into portfolio implications.
• Guide development of white papers, RFIs, and thought leadership for agency priorities.
• Build and steward relationships across the military health ecosystem with researchers, associations, and academics.
• Advise delivery leadership on client expectations and program stewardship to reinforce outcomes.
