Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 5+ years MIG/TIG welding experience.
• Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
• Proficient reading of weld symbols, blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and perform MIG/TIG welding to fabricate parts per customer specifications.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Utilize measuring tools (calipers, gauges) to ensure tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, organized welding area and comply with safety standards.
• Collaborate with machine operators and production staff to meet deadlines.
• Address special projects or department transfers as needed.
