Job summary

Dedienne Aerospace in United States Ohio is seeking a skilled welder to fit and weld steel, aluminum and stainless-steel parts using MIG and TIG processes. You will read blueprints, follow weld specs, and ensure safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a dependable work ethic in a manufacturing setting; certification is a plus, and you will work with team to maximize productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• 5+ years of experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel.
• Current and valid certification is a plus.
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding highly preferred.
• Experience with CNC press breaks, CNC folding machines and automatic saws highly preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Ability to identify and measure material.
• Ability to produce quality products consistently.
• Ability to follow instructions given verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to learn and dependable work ethic.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs and uses.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures and angle gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding machines based on the job and Welding Procedure Specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine welding requirements.
• MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless-steel components as needed.
• Ensure work is safe and meets quality standards.
• Follow and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications.
• Operate manual production tools or assist machine operators.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; care for equipment and facilities.
• Follow company safety rules and quality standards.
• Provide strong attention to detail and focus on tasks.
• Collaborate with team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Lift raw materials and finished parts up to 50 pounds, manually or with crane.
