Job summary

Rwdy-Inc is seeking a Midstream Operator in Artesia, NM to lead compressor station operations and drive reliability. You will oversee equipment performance, analyze SCADA data, and coordinate routine maintenance with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires mentoring less experienced operators, maintaining detailed records, and responding effectively in emergencies. Expect day or night shifts and a strong safety culture across field operations.

Qualifications

• Leads complex compressor station operations and maintenance activities under limited supervision.
• Oversees operation and troubleshooting of compressor stations, including advanced maintenance and optimization of compressors, pumps, and auxiliary systems.
• Utilizes predictive maintenance tools to proactively reduce unscheduled downtime.
• Ensures accurate GIS mapping and leads periodic visual inspections of compressor stations.
• Drives compliance with regulatory and DOT standards, coordinating emergency response efforts.
• Leads real‑time surveillance and operational checks of compressor station systems, ensuring thorough documentation of activities.
• Manages corrective tasks, oversees vendor performance, and represents the company in material deliveries.
• Collaborates with chemical techs and engineering teams for equipment protection and upgrades.
• Trains and mentors lower‑level employees, facilitating peer‑to‑peer knowledge sharing.
• Serves as a field‑wide contact for compressor station operations and maintenance, especially during emergencies.
• Maintains a strong safety culture, participates in the SAFE program, and upholds the authority to stop work in unsafe conditions.
