Persistent Systems Limited is seeking a Senior Middleware Engineer in New Jersey to administer RHEL environments, configure Tomcat, and implement robust middleware solutions. The role emphasizes security hardening with SSL/TLS and high availability/disaster recovery to ensure business continuity.

You will manage LDAP/SSO configurations, collaborate across teams, monitor systems, and document best practices. The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of middleware experience and a strong security mindset.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in middleware engineering and system administration.
• Strong knowledge of RHEL, Apache Tomcat, and security hardening.
• Experience with HA/DR, SSL/TLS, and LDAP/SSO.
• Ability to design and implement secure, highly available middleware platforms.
• Collaborative, cross-functional team player with excellent communication skills.
