Greycell Labs Inc. seeks a Senior Middleware Engineer to operate and support a hybrid Windows/Linux/Kubernetes environment for the UISIM project.

You will manage enterprise middleware platforms in production, maintain automation tooling, and contribute to incident resolution while ensuring high availability across on-premises and cloud components.

Qualifications

• 60 months of experience administering and supporting enterprise middleware or application-server platforms.
• 48 months of experience installing, configuring, maintaining, patching, upgrading, and troubleshooting Red Hat JBoss BAM/BPM or IBM WebSphere.
• 36 months of experience administering enterprise workload automation or batch scheduling tools such as ActiveBatch.
• 36 months of experience supporting application integrations, interfaces, deployments, and production incident resolution across distributed systems.
• 36 months of experience conducting application or middleware performance testing and analysis using JMeter or a comparable performance-testing tool.
• 24 months of experience supporting document-processing or specialized business applications such as PSPDF or OccuCoder.
• 24 months of experience creating operational runbooks, architecture or configuration documentation, and providing knowledge transfer to technical staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide senior-level operating system administration for Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes platforms in a hybrid compute environment.
• Support systems administration and platform management architecture for UISIM post go-live.
• Ensure sustained high availability across all layers of the hybrid infrastructure and coordinate with State staff who support these platforms.

Detailed Job Description: This position provides senior-level operating system administration for the New York State Department of Labor's hybrid computing environment, spanning Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes platforms hosted both on-premises and in the cloud. The position supports the systems administration and platform management architecture that sustains the UISIM system following go-live, and is responsible for technical administration, operational support, and sustained high availability across all layers of that hybrid infrastructure. The position resides within the ITS Office of the CTO, CPEO Site Reliability Engineering organization and works in coordination with State staff who support these platforms.
