Job Title: Data Scientist (Senior / Mid-Level) – Top Secret Clearance
Location: Huntsville, Alabama (100% Onsite)
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent/1099 Consultant

Experience:
Senior: 8+ years of hands-on experience
Mid-Level: 5+ years of hands-on experience

Job Description
We are seeking Data Scientist (Senior and Mid-Level) to support secure, mission-critical data environments within a classified cloud infrastructure.
These roles are fully onsite in Huntsville, AL and require an active Top Secret clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands on Agile environment experience
• Responsible for utilizing big data technologies and knowledge of data science models to analyze large amounts of data and create valuable insights.
• Less visualization and analytics, more sciences (modeling, programming)
• Duties include finding and designing new approaches to handling,
• analyzing, and using large volumes of data sets;
• exploring fundamental issues with data handling, search, and retention;
• solving complex data and storage issues;
• designing new software coding to improve data search processes;
• designing, testing and validating the quality of the data and data processes;
• and analyzing and reporting results with actionable recommendations.

Desired qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
5+ (Mid) or 8+ (Senior) years of experience in data science experience
Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
