Job summary

TriCom Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Senior Security Analyst in Lenexa, KS to monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats within a Microsoft-focused environment.

You will work directly with Defender, Azure/Entra, and Microsoft 365 to troubleshoot incidents and strengthen security controls. The role combines security operations with opportunities to enhance processes, communicate with stakeholders, and partner with security teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on security operations experience.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft security tools and platforms.
• Experience with vulnerability management and remediation.
• Incident investigation, threat detection, and security controls implementation.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and controls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security activity, investigate threats, and respond to incidents using Microsoft security tools.
• Hands-on work with Defender, Azure/Entra, and Microsoft 365 to troubleshoot security issues and maintain controls.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, identify risks, and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain security policies and procedures, communicate findings to tech teams and stakeholders, and coordinate with external partners.
