University of Central Florida (UCF) IT is seeking a Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer IV to lead Windows Server, Azure, and System Center lifecycles with emphasis on security and automation. You will architect, deploy, and support enterprise infrastructure across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, mentoring teammates and guiding strategic projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience (or 9 years without a degree), strong PowerShell skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/system administration.
• 5 years of relevant experience if degree is present; 9 years without a degree.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and operation of Microsoft Azure and hybrid management services.
• Design centralized policies, monitoring, security, and lifecycle management for Windows Server environments.
• Administer Windows Server across physical, virtual, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Lead upgrades, modernization, and remediation of technical debt.
• Oversee patching and vulnerability remediation to reduce security exposure.
• Develop automation with PowerShell, APIs, Azure Automation, IaC.
