Job summary
Tavant is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of modern data platform solutions on Microsoft Fabric. You will drive data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration with a focus on scalable lakehouse/warehouse design and CI/CD practices.
The role requires deep data engineering expertise, strong SQL, PySpark, and hands-on experience with Fabric or Azure Data Factory pipelines, plus experience delivering production-grade data
Qualifications
- 12+ years in data engineering / data platform roles.
- 2+ years architecting and implementing on Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong SQL skills including performance tuning and analytics-ready modeling.
- Hands-on with Azure Data Factory or Fabric pipelines.
- PySpark development for scalable transformations.
- Experience implementing CI/CD for data workloads.
- Solid data engineering fundamentals (ingestion, transformations, modeling, orchestration).
- Knowledge of Medallion/Data Vault architectures.
- Semantic layer creation and DAX basics are advantageous.
- Capacity planning and workload optimization.
Responsibilities

- Drive end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration patterns.
