Job summary

AAA in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Senior Messaging Engineer to administer, maintain and optimize the Microsoft Exchange platform, including hybrid and cloud deployments. You will manage mail flow, security, migrations and user administration, while supporting after-hours incidents.

The role requires 6+ years in Exchange environments, strong PowerShell skills, and excellent communication to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience administering Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange Online.
• Hands-on in Exchange Hybrid deployments and migrations.
• Proficient with PowerShell scripting.
• Experience troubleshooting mail flow and delivery.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 authentication and identity sync.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain complex tech in business terms.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Exchange Server environments incl. 2016/2019 and hybrids.
• Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, groups, and policies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hybrid configurations between on-premises Exchange and Exchange Online.
• Provision and migrate mailboxes; manage permissions and delegates.
• Configure and troubleshoot mail flow, connectors, routing and delivery issues.
• Troubleshoot email delivery, authentication, Outlook connectivity and mobile access.
• Maintain documentation and participate in after-hours support and incident management.
